Reiki & Animal Therapies – Alan & Jane
When our beloved red dog Georg-ee was diagnosed with kidney failure the first person we thought of was Eileen. Having received Reiki from her in the past and knowing how calming and uplifting it was we knew it would help. The day Eileen arrived Georg-ee was very lethargic and uninterested in anything and anybody and was more thanhappy to just ‘lie there’ for the treatment. He fell asleep during the session and did’nt really wake up again that day. Not knowing what we would wake upto the next morning it was sheer joy when our boy greeted us full of the joys of spring and so energised. Eileen continued to treat him throughout his illness, the vets had said 5-6months, we had our boy for a further 12 months. So of course 3years later when our lovely cream girl Summer was diagnosed with a mast cell tumour we once again contacted Eileen. This time we knew we had’nt got long with Summer, but again the Reiki brought about a calming and uplifting mood which helped us all to cope with the illness in a positive way.
